Glady & Co’s Pathways to Independence Program is a structured, group-based capacity-building program designed to support people with psychosocial or cognitive disability to build everyday life skills, meaningful social connections, and confidence.

Delivered over 12 weeks, each term focuses on a dedicated theme—such as Foundations, Digital Literacy, Employment, or Community Participation. Participants can choose the program that best aligns with their current goals and continue building on their progress across future terms.

Pathways runs across three age-based streams to ensure content is relevant and life-stage appropriate:

  • Rising (17–25)
  • Anchored (26–35)
  • Empowered (36+)

Each week combines hands-on learning, group activities, and supported community outings, facilitated by a professional team with lived experience. Participants also have the opportunity to take part in after program social group activities, exploring ongoing social connection and community opportunities.

  • Games corner
  • Crafternoon’s
  • Digital game groups

Pathways to Independence is ideal for people working towards greater independence, increased community participation, or future employment—offering guidance, encouragement, and support every step of the way.

Pathways to Motherhood

“A Gentle Space to Connect, Create, and Belong”

Launching in Term 3, this one-day group program is designed for mothers and their children aged under 3, offering a calm, welcoming space to slow down, connect, and feel supported.

The day focuses on building connection and meaningful conversation, creating an atmosphere of inclusion, understanding, and shared experience. Through gentle, hands-on activities, mothers and children are encouraged to engage at their own pace, without pressure or expectation.

Together, participants will enjoy simple baking activities, sensory play, and creative keepsakes such as plaster moulds, designed to become forever memory pieces—tangible reminders of a special moment in time. These activities support bonding, creativity, and presence, while creating opportunities for connection between families.

This program is ideal for mothers seeking a supportive community, shared conversation, and a nurturing environment where both parent and child are welcomed exactly as they are.

Pathways to Active Living

“A relaxed outdoor experience designed for connection and wellbeing”

This program aims to offer an action-packed one-day program designed to get participants moving, exploring, and connecting through shared outdoor experiences.

The day will feature a variety of guided outdoor activities, including day hikes, fishing, snorkelling, and group challenges that encourage confidence, teamwork, and enjoyment of the natural environment. The program will conclude with a supported camping experience, giving participants the opportunity to build practical outdoor skills, strengthen social connections, and celebrate the day together.

This program focuses on participation, wellbeing, and community connection, with activities tailored to different abilities and supported by experienced facilitators. Participants are encouraged to engage at their own pace, creating a positive, inclusive experience that supports both movement and social confidence.
